About Bodyful Minds

Motherhood and professional ambition still seem to be an oxymoron. I want to change that, but let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I can support you in having a more fulfilled professional life without adding more to your plate.

The face behind bodyful minds - more you, not more to do.

I am Katherina, a mother of three, with a professional background in organisational development and strategy and a special focus on personal development and leadership in particular. I have worked in the public and the private sector. My consulting and coaching experience spans over 15 years of my professional life. More recently I have started focusing on the body as a central tool to my coaching approach. This is taking me full-circle back to my thesis that also dealt with the female body, its role and depiction in culture.

I strongly believe in people being an organisation’s biggest asset. Mothers as employees, however, are largely underestimated and undervalued in my experience. Often their professional aspiration is discounted by employers and hence advancing in your career gets increasingly difficult as a mother. Yet we bring a plethora of additional and relevant skills. By necessity we are extremely efficient as well as highly committed workers.

That is why my mission is to help more mothers achieve their professional aspirations without adding any more pressure to your family life, to the already long to-do list or the huge mental load many of us carry.

Here's what you can achieve with my support:

  • Working with me you will learn to reconnect with your body, for example by using existing routines and exercise more intentionally.
  • Once reconnected with your body you will be able to understand its signals again and realign your actions with it.
  • Having a better relationship to yourself will allow you to better connect with your loved ones and ground you during conflict.
  • Professionally, it will help you in setting healthy boundaries, provide a new perspective on your current job and enable you to re-evaluate how you want to develop professionally.
  • You’ll have tools to keep tuning into your body and helping you decide what the right next step is for you (but I’ll also be happy to support you beyond that, of course).
